Melting the Ice in the Heart of Man

At the Big Ice, Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaat), June 20-24, 2018

In the only continent on earth there has never been a war, the land only knows peace, spiritual leaders invited by Peace Pledge Project joined together at the Big Ice. Guided by the local Shaman and Healer Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq, the spiritual leaders went for a walk in silence to connect with the land. They visited the ancient ceremonial longhouse and the remainders of the village. The spiritual leaders conducted a ritual ceremony and prayers to melt the ice of our hearts that has kept mankind apart from each other.
