Active peace by definition means, education system, economy system, energy system, energy sources, political system, etc. Everything has to be up-to-date. For example, the mentality to carry weapon like 200, 300 years ago is no longer relevant today. But if we hang on to the old mentality, tragedies like those suicide bombers happened.

H.H. the 12 Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa encouraged the audience to be aware of our wants, needs, actions and their consequences. In addition, he also elaborated the importance of the human upbringing in the first stages using the terms of kumbh and shunyata.
In his speech addressing the topic “World Peace by Non Violence,” H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa stated that peace is harmony and education is the key to turn things into harmony.
