H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was invited for 2019 Kumbh Mela event on “Cleansing Sacred Mother Ganga.”
H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa joined several spiritual leaders in forums for intense dialogue and prayers. In the Portiuncula within Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels, sacred water from the source of the Ganges River in the Indian Himalayas was mixed together with the sacred water from Greenland into a heart shaped vessel, representing the sacred heart of humanity. In the next morning, spiritual leaders carried the mixed sacred water for a Thirst for Peace Walk into the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi where prayers and offerings were made at the sacred convent.
In the only Country on Earth where Man lives that has never been a war, in the land only knows Peace, H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was invited by Universal Sufi Council to join with several spiritual leaders on the Big Ice.
The “ACTIVE PEACE 2014 Conclave” was organized by Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh to explore the “Relevance of Spirituality and Culture in the 21st Century”.
In 1989, H. H. the 12 Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa undertook a special initiative: Pilgrimage for Active Peace. Starting in Bodhgaya, India, the Pilgrimage visited several countries around the world including Vatican City State, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America before returning to New Delhi, India.
The vision and efforts for Active Peace – One World, One Humanity started in 1975.
